How much is that arty in the window ??

all in the window now on display ....in my hurry to get it all finished and on display I forgot to take detailed photos of my stuff ......Doh !!!......will take some next week....xx

first it's a scarf then it's a bag.....

This bag started life as two knitted scarves, a curtain lining, a tattered chiffon scarf and a load of ties ......the inside lining of the bag is the curtain fabric I have used on the dress and for the cuffs and collar of the jacket ........I first cut the pattern for the bag out of the curtain lining and chopped up the knitted scarves added pieces of the gold scarf I used for the jacket I covered it with a chiffon scarf and machine stitched it all together .....I then decorated with applique flowers from the curtains and bits from the souvenir scarves....just make some more tie roses to finish it off ....and there you have it ......

Bags bags bags

Made some bags for my display .....I drew the logo of the charity then cut out a stencil..........Collaged some bits together on a background of an old jumper et voila !.......x

Getting there ......

I'm a bit behind with my posts.... .computer caught another virus and I've been frantically finishing my outfit to go on display tomorrow...will try and post in order of making ..........so here goes with first instalment.......

Got this haul from a car boot this morning.......I can see possibilities......

These two scarves came from DeBra charity shop ....great images to add to my jacket..
